Gwangjin-gu Traditional Market Restaurant Menus - Now Available as Meal Kits

Myeongok Market Specialty Gosari Chicken Soup Available Online and Offline, Result of Win-Win Cooperation Between Traditional Market and Private Companies... Expected Sales Increase Through Traditional Market and Private Company Collaboration

Gwangjin-gu Traditional Market Restaurant Menus - Now Available as Meal Kits

Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is now offering traditional market delicacies as convenient meal kits.

Jangsu Dakhanmari Son Kalguksu (364 Dapsimni-ro), located in the Myeongok Market alley shopping district, has jointly launched a convenient meal kit of Gosari Dakgaejang with Hyundai Green Food.

In March, the district participated in the Seoul city public project, the 'Traditional Market Meal Kit Project,' to support popular restaurants that highlight the unique charm of traditional markets. Traditional markets share their special recipes with private companies, which then utilize their technology and distribution channels to support the entire process from product development to distribution.

Jangsu Dakhanmari Son Kalguksu, selected for the project, collaborated with Hyundai Green Food from May to September for five months on product planning and development. Full-scale sales began on October 26.

The newly launched Gosari Dakgaejang is available at all Hyundai Department Store branches, The Hyundai Seoul Uncommon Store, and online malls (Greeting Mall, The Hyundai.com, ToHome). Additionally, discussions are underway to list the product on Market Kurly and Coupang. The product can be purchased anytime at the respective stores.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "This is an opportunity to easily experience traditional market delicacies online," adding, "We expect a positive effect on sales increase and revitalization of traditional markets as the younger generation with consumption potential becomes new customers of traditional markets."
