The ceremony was attended by Lee Byeong-no, Mayor of Damyang County; Choi Yong-man, Chairman of Damyang County Council; Park Jong-won and Lee Gyu-hyun, members of the Jeollanam-do Provincial Assembly; heads of local agricultural cooperatives; leaders of agricultural-related institutions and organizations; heads of farmers' organizations; and about 2,000 farmers.

The event, led by farmers, began with performances such as the Daedeok-myeon Pungmul troupe, line dance by the Life Improvement Association, and saxophone performance by the Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Association. The opening ceremony was filled with a rice cake pounding event commemorating the awards received by Damyang County's outstanding farmers and the "Clear Bamboo Forest Damyang Rice," which has been recognized as one of Jeollanam-do's top 10 high-quality brand rice for 13 consecutive years.

In the second part, the lively festival atmosphere continued with enthusiastic participation and warm responses from farmers through events such as a cheerful sports day, singing contest, and congratulatory performances.

Additionally, the event was connected live to the "Korea Farmers' One Heart Grand Festival," celebrating Farmers' Day together with farmers from all over the country.

Furthermore, awards were presented to 2 outstanding farmers and 15 recipients across 5 categories of exemplary farmers who made significant contributions to agricultural development and practiced exemplary management, to honor and instill pride in them.

Moreover, the Damyang County Agricultural Council signed a pledge to donate 100 million KRW to activate the Hometown Love Donation Program and promote a culture of giving. The Yeongdeok County Agricultural Council also donated to Damyang County, strengthening cooperation between the two regions.

Mayor Lee Byeong-no said, "I would like to express my gratitude to our farmers who have endured the most challenging agricultural conditions this year due to rising raw material prices and prolonged monsoon rains. With the determination that our future depends on agriculture, I will strive to secure the maximum possible budget for the agricultural sector to achieve prosperous rural communities together with our farmers."
