Goseong-gun Maam-myeon Persimmon Harvest and Plogging Campaign
Gyeongnam Nonghyup conducted a rural labor support activity on the 14th in Maam-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, where there is a shortage of workers during the persimmon harvest season, together with Sangji Architecture and Monggo Food.
About 60 executives and employees participated in this labor support, including Shin Woo-kyung, head of Nonghyup Goseong-gun branch, Choi Nak-moon, chairman of Donggoseong Nonghyup, Park Chang-seok, executive director of Sangji Architecture, and Seo Jeong-ju, deputy general manager of Monggo Food.

They not only helped with the persimmon harvest but also carried out a plogging campaign to clean up the environment around Duho Village as part of the comprehensive Nonghyup ESG activities.
Farmer Lee Do-won said, “I was feeling overwhelmed due to the labor shortage, so I am very grateful for the help.”
Branch manager Shin Woo-kyung said, “I feel very honored to assist with rural labor support together with the executives and employees of Sangji Architecture and Monggo Food,” adding, “I feel rewarded to be able to provide a small help to farmers struggling with labor shortages during the harvest season.”
