Cellivery announced on the 14th that the research results of its immune inflammation treatment ‘iCP-NI’ have been published in the Journal of Molecular Therapy.
The Journal of Molecular Therapy is the official SCI (Science Citation Index) journal of the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy. It is ranked in the top 4% in the field of new drug development and top 7% in molecular biology, with a citation index reaching 12.9 as of this year, which determines the reliability of scientific journals.
This paper presents the therapeutic efficacy of restoring the lungs of animals, whose porous structures were destroyed by viral immune inflammation such as COVID-19, back to normal. iCP-NI has currently completed non-clinical trials including animal efficacy tests, rodent and primate toxicity tests, but clinical trials are temporarily suspended due to financial reasons.
The company evaluated that the publication of the paper in a top-tier professional academic journal verified the reliability of its pharmacological substance systemic delivery technology (TSDT, Therapeutic molecule Systemic Delivery Technology). It explained that the paper passed the data and technical verification processes required for publication in a professional scientific journal, including ▲specific experimental and statistical processing methods ▲production and purchase sources of experimental materials ▲equipment review.
A Cellivery representative said, “By publishing an academic paper in the Journal of Molecular Therapy, which is recognized by the academic community, we have secured an objective reference that can be utilized in future licensing negotiations.” He added, “It is especially significant that the paper was published after peer review (a process in which experts in the field verify the validity of scientific papers), thereby securing trust in the technology and new drug substances.”
