On Agricultural Day... NongHyup Central Association Announces New Vision '100 Years of Togetherness in Rural Communities'

The National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF) has announced a new vision called "Together for 100 Years of Rural Communities," expressing its commitment to playing a full role in revitalizing rural areas and helping them take a strong leap forward.

On the 10th, NACF held the "28th Farmers' Day, Great Festival of Korean Farmers in Unity" and announced this vision, the federation said on the 13th.

To achieve the vision aimed at overcoming the crisis of rural disappearance and establishing a sustainable rural foundation, NACF plans to identify and intensively promote 100 key tasks from the perspectives of "work, people, and space."

First, NACF will devote all efforts to expanding jobs and income opportunities in rural areas through bold agricultural innovation, including the spread of smart agriculture, investment in advanced agriculture, fostering young cooperative members, and completing reforms in the distribution of agricultural and livestock products.

Additionally, NACF will play a pioneering role in creating a rural tourism boom, revitalizing return-to-farming and return-to-village movements, and expanding the "Hometown Love Donation System." At the same time, it plans to actively improve rural landscapes and living conditions through projects to enhance rural housing environments and create clean livestock environments.

Lee Seong-hee, Chairman of NACF, said, "If our farmers open the hopeful future of rural communities with pride and dignity for protecting agriculture and rural areas, which are the foundation of the national economy, I am confident that the public will respond with trust and love to protect rural areas." He added, "NACF will also devote all its efforts to realizing the vision of 'Together for 100 Years of Rural Communities.'"
