Sehwa Daycare Director Song Soon-jung Sponsors 1:1 Partnership with Children in Mozambique, Africa

Good Neighbors Honam Headquarters announced on the 13th that it held a plaque presentation ceremony for the Good Neighbor Family in collaboration with Sehwa Daycare Center (Director Song Soon-jung) located in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, for participating in the 'Beginning of Promise' program.

'Beginning of Promise' is a program that fosters understanding of coexistence and empathy in the global era through international exchange with Mozambique, Africa, encouraging proactive sharing within the local community for sustainable development where no one is left behind.

Song Soon-jung, director of Sehwa Daycare Center, participated in 'Beginning of Promise' by establishing a one-to-one sponsorship with a child in Mozambique, Africa, protecting the rights of children both domestically and internationally.

Director Song Soon-jung of Sehwa Daycare Center said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to register as a Good Neighbor Daycare Center and Good Neighbor Family. I am pleased that through additional sponsorships, we can support the healthy growth of children in Mozambique,” adding, “We will continue to work together through Good Neighbors to ensure that all children at home and abroad can grow up healthy.”

Jung Yong-jin, head of Good Neighbors Honam Headquarters, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I thank Director Song Soon-jung of Sehwa Daycare Center for practicing sharing for overseas marginalized neighbors and children and contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing,” and added, “I hope that the sharing we have done together will provide overseas children with an opportunity to take one step closer to their dreams.”

Meanwhile, Good Neighbors Honam Headquarters is leading the spread of a culture of sharing through social development education projects such as sharing character education for young children and global citizenship education, as well as building community networks.
