LF announced on the 13th that the global sports brand ‘Reebok,’ which it operates, has launched a new line of the brand’s signature ‘Club C85’ sneakers called ‘Club C Legacy Tassel (CLUB C LEGACY TASSEL).’
The Club C Legacy Tassel is a newly interpreted product of Reebok’s premium line of the iconic court shoe Club C85, ‘Club C Legacy,’ tailored to the tastes and needs of domestic customers. Its standout feature is the detachable unique tassel decoration.
Before the official release, it was first unveiled as a custom product on the runway at the Songzio 2024 Spring/Summer (SS) collection during Paris Fashion Week in June and at the People of the World 2024 SS collection during Seoul Fashion Week in September. Through collaborations with two leading Korean designer brands, it was stylishly showcased with contemporary looks on the Paris and Seoul Fashion Week stages.
The Club C Legacy Tassel maintains the Union Jack design symbolizing Reebok’s history while based on the Club C85 sneaker silhouette. It adds a luxurious touch by applying premium leather and hairy suede materials on the upper part. The detachable tassel emphasizes a unique charm, while the thick midsole and tone-on-tone sophisticated color scheme are applied to the outsole, expressing Reebok’s classic sensibility.
The Club C Legacy is a sneaker that gained popularity through collaborations with the American streetwear brand ‘Pleasures’ and the American fashion boutique ‘Bodega’ in 2021. A Reebok official stated, “Reflecting the trend of contemporary fashion becoming mainstream in the domestic fashion market, we have upgraded and newly released the popular Reebok sneaker Club C Legacy to suit the Korean market. The detachable tassel allows for multi-styling, and the luxurious cream color will complete the old money look.”
LF is actively introducing Reebok Europe’s global products, including high-end lines and global collaborations, to the domestic market one after another, targeting contemporary fashion enthusiasts in Korea.
