Netflix Targets Year-End and New Year Home Audiences with 'Gyeongseong Creature'

Highlighting Two Youths Resisting Japanese Imperial Greed

Netflix announced on the 12th that it will target living rooms at the end and beginning of the year with 'Gyeongseong Creature.' The drama is about two youths in the spring of 1945, whose survival was everything, fighting against a monster born out of greed. The script was written by writer Kang Eun-kyung, known for 'Romantic Doctor Kim Sa-bu,' 'Fox Bride Star,' and 'What Happens to My Family,' and directed by Jung Dong-yoon of 'Stove League.' The cast includes actors Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee, as well as Su-hyun, Kim Hae-sook, Jo Han-chul, and Wi Ha-joon. Park Seo-joon plays Jang Tae-sang, the owner of the pawnshop Geumokdang, and Han So-hee portrays Yoon Chae-ok, a todukkun who even finds the dead. The production involved Gl&Grim Media, Kakao Entertainment, and Studio Dragon. Part 1 will be released on December 22, and Part 2 on January 5 of next year.
