"Looking at the bone structure, I am the father"... 60-year-old stalking a 14-year-old trot girl

A man in his 60s who continuously stalked 14-year-old trot singer Oh Yujin and her family was recently sent to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment.

On the 10th, SBS's 'Curious Story Y' focused on a man in his 60s stalking the 14-year-old trot singer. Oh Yujin, a 14-year-old trot singer, built her skills at a singing class she attended with her maternal grandmother when she was young, and gained recognition by achieving excellent results in a trot competition program.

The stalking began in August. The man called Yujin's maternal grandmother, saying that he and Yujin looked strangely alike, and proposed a meeting to the grandmother.

Afterwards, on every article and video related to Yujin, comments claiming that he was Yujin's biological father were posted 20 to 30 times a day, totaling over 1,000 comments. He even revealed his own photos, urging people to compare how much he resembled Yujin.

He claimed, "Years ago, when I used to go to karaoke, I met a woman in her mid-twenties who got pregnant. I told her to abort the baby when we broke up, but she gave birth and gave the child to someone else. Watching TV, (Oh Yujin) looks like my daughter," and left dozens of comments asking, "Where are the biological father and mother?"

The man is also accused of repeatedly calling the family to demand meetings and visiting Yujin's school and event venues, causing anxiety and fear.

Yujin expressed her anxiety, saying, "When adult men ask if I am singer Oh Yujin, I unconsciously say no and apologize. I feel like I am constantly under pressure without realizing it."

"Bone structure and singing style are identical to mine," he claims

What is the basis for his claim that Yujin is his biological daughter? He said, "The bone structure itself is alike from head to toe," and "The shape of the hands and teeth are exactly the same when you look at the photos." He also claimed that "the characteristics of singing are all inherited," insisting that his singing style and Oh Yujin's are identical.

Even after seeing Yujin's biological father, he emphasized that he was the biological father, saying, "My eyes and his are similar, and this person also has similar traits," shocking many.

Oh Yujin's biological mother angrily stated, "I was pregnant for ten months and gave birth, and the baby's father cut the umbilical cord. Both my mother-in-law and my own mother stayed up all night waiting by my side and saw the birth, so this is absolutely ridiculous." She added, "He kept changing his profile pictures. He even zoomed in on Yujin's head and teeth. It's creepy," she appealed.

Refused DNA test proposal

When the production team suggested a DNA test, the man said, "I want to meet Yujin's grandmother rather than do a DNA test. If we meet, we can exchange one fingernail clipping each, or else I will not agree," and fled the scene.

Earlier in August, Oh Yujin's side, through Totalset, stated, "We filed a complaint with the Mapo Police Station of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against the stalker for violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation by false facts). The case was later transferred to the Jinju Police Station. As a result of the police investigation, the stalker was found guilty of defamation by stating false facts and was recently sent to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment."
