According to the legal community on the 10th, Judge So Jun-seop of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 32 dismissed Yoon's petition for a provisional injunction against the prosecution's search and seizure request filed in April this year on the 8th. A provisional injunction is a system that allows one to appeal to the court when subjected to actions such as search and seizure by investigative agencies.
In April, the prosecution conducted search and seizure on Yoon's National Assembly and Incheon constituency offices, residence, and vehicle.
Yoon was indicted and detained in August on charges of receiving a total of 60 million won from primary campaign associates for the purpose of providing it to Democratic Party incumbent lawmakers to support former leader Song Young-gil's election ahead of the Democratic Party convention in May 2021.
