Renault Korea Motors and Dong-A University Sign Agreement to Foster Local Technical Talent

Dong-A University has signed an 'Industry-Academia Cooperation Agreement for Fostering Future Technology Talent' with Renault Korea Motors.


The signing ceremony took place on the 8th at the main conference room of Dong-A University's Seunghak Campus. Attendees included Dong-A University President Lee Hae-woo, Director Oh Eung-su of the Student and Employment Support Office, Director Park Hyun-tae of the External and International Affairs Office, Director Choi Jeong-ho of the LINC3.0 Project Group, and from Renault Korea, Manufacturing Headquarters Director Lee Hae-jin, Research Center Director Choi Seong-gyu, HR Headquarters Director Park Jeong-wan, and Communications Headquarters Director Sang Hee-jung.


Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to closely collaborate on ▲joint development and implementation of experiential field training (internship) programs ▲establishing a mutual support system for joint policy research, information sharing, and talent development between the partner organizations ▲various projects aimed at strengthening student capabilities.


Dong-A University will promote various mutual cooperation programs such as field training and internship programs led by the University Job Plus Center, as well as seminars and conferences.

President Lee Hae-woo stated, “This agreement will provide students with various opportunities such as field training, and offer companies customized talent development and research consultation, which will be greatly beneficial to both parties. I hope that close cooperation between industry and academia will become a model case that positively impacts the local community.”


Renault Korea Director Lee Hae-jin said, “We will combine the strengths of Renault Korea and Dong-A University to strive for talent development and industrial advancement in the Busan region. We hope to realize industry-academia cooperation programs that contribute to regional development and innovation together with Dong-A University students.”
