Director Ahn Sang-min was inaugurated as the 29th Commander of the Logistics Command on the 9th.

Commander Ahn emphasized, "The essence of the Logistics Command is to timely support everything so that combat units can always fight and win against the enemy," adding, "I will establish a logistics support posture of preemptive victory to create a unit that inspires trust and emotion."

In particular, Commander Ahn stated, "We will strengthen capabilities to guarantee continuous support during both wartime and peacetime, establish an advanced logistics support system to prepare for future battlefields, and foster a lively and happy unit atmosphere by adhering to basics and principles," and expressed his determination, "We will strive for perfect logistics support that ensures victory anytime and anywhere."

Commander Ahn was commissioned in 1992 as the 46th class of the Naval Academy and has held key naval and ground positions including Captain of the Choi Young-class destroyer, Chief of Maritime Operations at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Director of Maritime Operations at the Operations Command, Commander of the 7th Mobile Brigade, Superintendent of the Naval Academy, and Commander of the 2nd Fleet.
