The Korea Sharing National Awards is a ceremony aimed at discovering those who have set social examples through sharing and strengthening social recognition of sharing through awards. This year, there are a total of 135 recipients, and Chairman Park is the sole recipient of the Dongbaekjang National Medal of Honor.

Chairman Park has been leading Sejung Group for nearly 50 years, recognized not only for corporate social responsibility but also for personally practicing private donations and volunteer work quietly, and contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing through donations.

He began volunteering at the Pentecostal Peace Village in 1983 and has supported a total of 33.2 billion KRW over more than 40 years to date. He has also contributed to sharing activities for neighbors in welfare blind spots, including support for social welfare facilities, people with disabilities, single-parent families, elderly living alone, child-headed households, vulnerable groups, youth support and scholarship programs for talent development in the region, housing environment improvement for low-income families, sports support, and donations for national disaster relief.

Through the Sejung Sharing Foundation, a social welfare corporation established with a total donation of 33 billion KRW including private funds, he has expanded the scale of sharing and secured professionalism, transparency, and sustainability, greatly contributing to the practice of noblesse oblige.

Chairman Park is also the first member of the Honor Society in the Busan region, a high-donor group, playing a pioneering role in the culture of high-value donations. He reflected, "Helping neighbors in need and returning home was a great joy and fulfillment." He added, "Sejung Group will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year. We will continue to practice sharing and strive to create a warm society."

Previously, Chairman Park was selected as a model taxpayer in 2006 and received the 'Silver Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit' at the 'Taxpayer's Day' ceremony from the Ministry of Finance and Economy. In 2014, he was awarded the 'Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit' at the 28th Textile Day by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in recognition of his contributions to the development of the Korean textile and fashion industry.
