Boseong County Council Members Yoon Dong-jin and Lee Chun-bok Receive 'Local Legislative Service Award'

Vice Chairman Yoon Dong-jin and San-geon Committee Chairman Lee Chun-bok Receive Award Honors

Yoon Dong-jin, Vice Chairman of Boseong County Council, and Lee Chun-bok, Chair of the Industry and Construction Committee, received the ‘Local Legislative Service Award’ at the 286th Jeonnam City and County Council Chairpersons’ Association meeting held in Boseong County on the 8th.

The ‘Local Legislative Service Award’ is given to council members who have made significant contributions to the development of local legislation through diligent and proactive legislative research, and who have contributed to establishing an advanced council image, improving residents’ welfare, revitalizing the local economy, and advancing the local community.

Vice Chairman Yoon Dong-jin has served as a member of the 5th Boseong County Council, carrying out various legislative activities in the region. As the Vice Chairman of the 9th Boseong County Council, he enacted the ‘Ordinance on Support for Foreign Seasonal Workers in Boseong County’ and proposed a partial amendment to the ‘Ordinance on Delegation of Boseong County Affairs to Public Institutions,’ actively engaging in legislative activities.

Chairman Lee Chun-bok of the Industry and Construction Committee enacted the ‘Ordinance on Creating a Safe Return Home Environment in Boseong County,’ establishing an environment where vulnerable groups such as children, adolescents, and women in the area can safely return home from crimes and safety accidents. Through various policy proposals, he represents the voices of the residents.

Vice Chairman Yoon Dong-jin expressed, “I am very grateful to receive such a great award simply by fulfilling my role as a servant to the residents. I will continue to propose diverse policies for a working council and a thriving Boseong.” Chairman Lee Chun-bok said, “I strive to find answers on-site and share values, and I will carry out legislative activities that inspire the residents. This Local Legislative Service Award is a result of the encouragement from the residents,” sharing his thoughts.
