Through this agreement, the Haeundae District Office will identify and recommend individuals who have given up treatment due to economic difficulties despite experiencing daily life challenges caused by tooth loss, and Osstem Implant will support the implant surgery costs for these individuals. The recipients will be selected from residents near the Osstem Implant Production Headquarters located in areas such as Banyeo-dong, Bansong-dong, and Jaesong-dong in Haeundae-gu. In addition to supporting surgery costs, Osstem Implant will also donate oral care products to the Haeundae District Office to promote healthy dental care.

Osstem Implant is expanding community-based social contributions focused on Busan, its production hub, by sponsoring local festivals near the Production Headquarters, such as the Bansong Hanmaeum Festival and the Suyeong Riverside Festival. Hong Seong-jo, head of Osstem Implant’s Production Headquarters, said, “Busan is a historic region where Osstem Implant first obtained domestic approval and began implant production, operating large-scale production facilities to this day, and it is a precious living space for our employees. As a member of the local community, we will fulfill our social responsibilities and strive to contribute to the region without neglect.”

Osstem Implant relocated its production plant from Geoje-dong, Yeonje-gu, Busan, to the 'Orange Tower' in Seokdae Advanced Industrial Complex, Seokdae-dong, Haeundae-gu, in 2014. The facility spans a total floor area of 19,108㎡, with one basement floor and six above-ground floors, equipped with advanced facilities and infrastructure. Recently, the second plant, with a total floor area of 13,700㎡ near the Orange Tower, also began full-scale operations. As of the end of last month, the Production Headquarters, including both plants, employs 539 staff members, of whom 39 are persons with disabilities.

An Osstem Implant official stated, “To contribute to the Busan regional economy through job creation, we are actively utilizing various employment programs such as the Work-Learning Dual System, the National Employment Support System’s work experience program, and the Digital Dentistry Industry Youth Job Support Project. In particular, we have established a mid- to long-term employment plan for persons with disabilities and are developing various job roles where persons with and without disabilities can work together.”
