Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch Provides Winter Heating Cost Support to Changwon Special City

15 Million KRW Delivered to Low-Income Families

On the 8th, the Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch donated 15 million won in heating expenses to help vulnerable groups in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, have a warm winter.

Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch supported heating expenses to Changwon Special City on the 8th.

This donation was selected through the '2023 Second Half Donation Public Contest' held by the Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch last September and is planned to support 150 households facing economic difficulties.

Kim Won-young, head of the Changwon branch, said, "I hope this helps our neighbors in need to have a warm winter. We will continue to practice sharing activities through various contribution projects."

Jang Geum-yong, the first deputy mayor, said, "We thank the Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch for their generous support in the second half of the year following the first half. This donation will greatly help families in need to have a warm winter."

Since its opening in 2005, the Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch has been participating in various social contribution projects using horse racing revenues since 2009, contributing to the revitalization of a sharing culture by giving back to the local community.
