'Market Merchant Academy' with 6 Sessions for Traditional Market and Alley Shopping District Merchants at Haenuri Town until December 11... Experts Share Market Revitalization Secrets in Market Management, Marketing, Product Display, Calligraphy, and More
Yangcheon-gu (District Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced that it will hold the "2023 Market Merchants Academy" every Monday until December 11 at Haenuri Town Art Hall for about 60 merchants from traditional markets and alley-type shopping districts in the area to strengthen the capabilities of traditional market merchants and build a solid local commercial district.
The district prepared this training with the goal of eliminating the gap in work capabilities among merchant members by market and satisfying the diverse needs of consumers, aiming to secure the competitiveness of the entire market beyond individual stores through improving merchants' awareness.
The training will be held in a total of six sessions every Monday at 2 p.m. from December 6 to December 11 at Haenuri Town Art Hall. The instructors include experts from various fields such as market management, online marketing, leadership, product display, and calligraphy, who will share secrets to revitalize the market.
The lecture topics include ▲ Operation of merchant associations and tips for selecting public contest projects to strengthen commercial district competitiveness ▲ Communication and leadership cultivation among merchant organization members ▲ Customer service management that doubles consumer satisfaction ▲ Product-specific display and arrangement methods that make products stand out in stores ▲ SNS marketing strategies to attract customers ▲ Store-specific design education that captivates customers' eyes.
In particular, rather than one-way information delivery, the lectures will be interactive using various teaching aids to enhance participants' immersion and concentration. For merchants who find it difficult to participate on-site due to busy work, all lectures will be streamed live on Yangcheon-gu Office's official YouTube channel "YangcheonTV," and recorded videos will be posted after the lectures end.
Lee Gi-jae, Mayor of Yangcheon-gu, said, "I hope this training will be an opportunity to revitalize alley-type shopping districts and energize the local commercial area," adding, "We will continue to discover and operate various market support projects to secure commercial district competitiveness."
