The Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters labor-management council of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head of Headquarters Jo Seok-jin, Chairman Moon Ji-hoon) conducted science field experience programs twice, on the 2nd-3rd and 6th-7th, for elementary school students in the local area, the future dream seeds, at Sacheon Aerospace Museum and Gyeongnam Robot Land to foster scientific talent.
Students from Seosaeng Elementary School visited Sacheon Aerospace Museum on the 6th for an advanced science experience activity jointly organized by the Saeul Headquarters labor and management.
The joint science field experience by the Saewool Headquarters labor-management council, held for 5th and 6th graders of Myeongsan Elementary School and Seosaeng Elementary School located in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, was implemented as an on-site experience event to easily understand scientific principles and satisfy curiosity about science through advanced science experiences such as robot making, coding programs, and aerospace industry.
Moon Ji-hoon, chairman who participated in the science field experience, said, “I hope that young people broaden their horizons through various experiences and that the field experience helps cultivate scientific imagination,” adding, “The Saewool Headquarters labor-management council plans to continuously support creating an environment where students can grow as future growth engines.”
