Yeomyeonghee, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of LG Uplus, stated during the Q3 earnings conference call on the 7th that regarding the electric vehicle charging business, "we will prioritize the slow charging market and strengthen our business to become a 'Top 3' operator within three years."
He added, "Our electric vehicle charging service brand, BoltUp, plans to install 10,000 chargers within this year, focusing on large apartment complexes and offices, and 50,000 chargers by 2026. Through a business collaboration with Hoban Construction, we plan to establish and operate electric vehicle charging services within apartments, and with Hanwha Construction, we will jointly develop a ceiling-type electric vehicle charging system specialized for the domestic residential environment to supply to newly built apartment complexes."
