Korail Gwangju Jeonnam Implements Hope Meal Truck Support Project

The Korea Railroad Gwangju-Jeonnam Headquarters announced on the 1st that it operated the 'Hope Meal Truck' for underprivileged groups at the plaza of Suncheon Medical Center on the 31st of last month.

The 'Hope Meal Truck' was jointly planned in cooperation with the Suncheon Volunteer Center to practice community-friendly ESG management, with the Korea Railroad labor and management working together.

Since 2021, it has regularly served warm lunch meals to those at risk of food insecurity near the railroad.

For those with mobility difficulties, side dish kits were prepared and delivered to ensure they could also have meals.

Additionally, environmental cleanup activities were carried out around the plaza of Suncheon Medical Center to convey warm hearts to the local residents.
