RaonSecure introduces a safe number service that enables one-time two-way calls without exposing personal contact information during everyday activities such as phone numbers inside parked vehicles, delivery services, courier services, and designated driver services.
On the 1st, RaonSecure announced the launch of a two-way 'Smart Safe Number' service that allows both recipients and callers to make two-way calls using a one-time virtual phone number.
The two-way safe number service improves upon the inconvenience of existing safe number services, where personal contact information of both recipients and callers is exposed even when using virtual numbers. With the two-way safe number, only the virtual phone number appears in the call logs of both parties, and calls can be made and received through the virtual number, preventing either party from knowing the other's personal contact information.
In contrast, with existing safe number services, even if the caller uses a virtual number, the recipient's phone displays the caller's personal contact number. If the recipient calls back the caller's number, the caller can also see the recipient's personal number.
RaonSecure expects that through the two-way 'Smart Safe Number' service, which fundamentally blocks the exposure of personal information for both recipients and callers, it will minimize damages and difficulties caused by mutual personal information exposure and can be applied across various fields.
In situations such as consultations between teachers and parents at schools or receiving calls from unspecified individuals for parking, service subscribers can create a virtual representative number linked to their own contact information to provide or display inside their vehicle, allowing continuous communication without revealing personal contact details. Similarly, subscribers can also make calls using the virtual number when contacting others.
During the use of convenience services such as delivery, courier, designated driver, and secondhand trading, communication can be conducted through a temporarily generated two-way safe number. When the service ends, the safe number is automatically reclaimed, making further calls impossible. Additionally, the ‘Automatic Usage History Storage Function’ allows verification of call recordings and call history, including mutual phone numbers, in case of disputes between the service subscriber and the other party, actively supporting dispute resolution.
Jung Hyun-chul, CEO of RaonSecure, stated, “RaonSecure’s 'Smart Safe Number' service minimizes the exposure of personal phone numbers, allowing both recipients and callers to use it with peace of mind, making it applicable across all industrial sectors.” He added, “It can serve as an alternative solution to social issues recently discussed, such as crimes or human rights violations caused by personal number exposure.”
