Premium bourbon whiskey brand Woodford Reserve, managed by Korea Brown-Forman, announced on the 1st that it will hold the "Woodford Old Fashioned Week" event, featuring special Old Fashioned cocktails in collaboration with eight famous bars in Seoul until the 13th.

Woodford Old Fashioned Week, which began in Paris in 2015, is a global campaign for both bartenders and whiskey enthusiasts. Bartenders showcase their unique Old Fashioned cocktails, while consumers can experience the charm of Woodford Reserve bourbon whiskey. This is the first time the event is held in Korea, collaborating with luxury malt bars located in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, to present special Old Fashioned cocktails made with Woodford Reserve.

The Old Fashioned, one of the most beloved classic cocktails worldwide, is made with bourbon whiskey, sugar, and bitters. Thanks to its simple ingredient combination, it allows for various flavor variations depending on the base whiskey’s taste and production techniques. Especially when made with Woodford Reserve whiskey, one can fully enjoy its distinctive smoothness, rich body, and delicate flavors.

Eight popular bars in Seoul?Zest, Le Chamber, Alice, Steel, Mr. Children, Lupin, The Lion’s Den, and Keepers?are participating in Woodford Old Fashioned Week. During the event, visitors can enjoy not only the classic Old Fashioned cocktail but also unique Old Fashioned variations reflecting each bar’s character. Additionally, cocktails made with Woodford Reserve will be served in glasses from Baccarat, the renowned French luxury crystal brand.
