The Born Korea announced on the 1st that it will launch two types of canned beer (Kkulbae Bubble, Grape Bubble) using local agricultural products from Sangju, Gyeongbuk and Yeongdong, Chungbuk.
The Born Korea is strengthening its beer lineup using regional specialties by adding these two new products following the ‘Applia’ beer made with Yesan apples and the ‘Gamgyul Orem’ beer containing Jeju tangerines.
The two canned beers (Kkulbae Bubble, Grape Bubble) were developed to help increase income for farmers by using high-quality local specialties and to provide consumers with a delicious experience. Made with honey and pears from Sangju, Gyeongbuk, and grapes from Yeongdong, Chungbuk, these beers are expected not only to offer a distinctive taste but also to promote local specialties and revitalize the regions.
The Kkulbae Bubble canned beer is made by adding pear juice and honey from Sangju, known for its high sugar content and rich juice, offering a refreshing pear flavor combined with the sweet taste of honey, boasting a highly addictive flavor.
The Grape Bubble canned beer is made by adding grape juice produced in Yeongdong, known as the ‘holy land of fruit.’ It features the rich aroma of Yeongdong grapes, characterized by their plump pulp and freshness, allowing consumers to enjoy a unique taste. Both beers have an alcohol content of 4%, with a strong fruit flavor that anyone can enjoy without burden.
Both products are currently available at CU convenience stores, including the Yesan permanent market in Chungnam, and The Born Korea plans to expand sales channels to large supermarkets and more in the future.
