Love-Filled Chrysanthemum Proposal: '2023 Daehanminguk Gukhyangdaejeon' Gains Great Popularity

Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 31st that the ‘2023 Korea Chrysanthemum Festival,’ Jeollanam-do’s representative autumn festival, is being held successfully at Hampyeong Expo Park under the theme ‘A Happy Trip for Me in Hampyeong Chrysanthemum’ until the 5th of next month.

Attracting the attention of tourists with various programs, the ‘Chrysanthemum Flower Proposal’ held in the free experience zone of the Wetland Park is especially gaining great popularity among people of all ages.

At the ‘Chrysanthemum Flower Proposal,’ visitors are provided with free rentals of dresses, suits, and bouquets made of chrysanthemums, and a professional photographer takes pictures in front of chrysanthemum-decorated sculptures, allowing participants to experience a vivid and loving moment similar to a newlywed couple’s wedding photoshoot.

In addition, visitors can see pink muhly grass and golden silver grass in the Wetland Park, enjoy traditional games, and participate in making chrysanthemum Makgeolli and handkerchiefs.

There are also nature-friendly resting places such as Indian tents and hammock shelters, and visitors can walk along the Hampyeong Cheonjigil trail lined with large-scale cosmos flowers and reeds, taking photos at photo zones.
