SNS Shares Review of National Assembly Policy Speech
"Fear the People and Consider Resigning"
On the 31st, Kim Yong-min, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, told President Yoon Suk-yeol, who visited the National Assembly for the policy speech, "Please stop now."
On the same day, Kim stated on his social media service (SNS), "After the policy speech, the president extended his hand for a handshake, and I responded, 'You should stop now,'" adding, "(President Yoon) should fear the people and be advised to step down."

Earlier, around 10:01 a.m., President Yoon entered the main chamber of the National Assembly and requested handshakes with opposition party members including Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party, and Hong Ik-pyo, floor leader of the Democratic Party.
That morning, Kim also posted on Facebook, saying, "Why come to the National Assembly for the policy speech when you could just do it at church?" This appears to refer to President Yoon attending a memorial service at Yeongam Church in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, on the 29th, the first anniversary of the Halloween tragedy.
Meanwhile, Democratic Party lawmakers held a silent protest with placards on the Rotunda Hall stairs timed with President Yoon's entrance to the National Assembly. They held signs reading "Fear the People," "Change the National Policy Direction," and "Prioritize the Livelihood Economy."
