Created at Departure Gates 7 and 8 of Terminal 1 Passenger Terminal
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 31st that it will operate the 'Disabled Passenger Safe Travel Center' to support the departure of passengers with disabilities.
On the same day, the corporation held an opening ceremony at the center located on the 3rd floor central area of Terminal 1 at Incheon Airport. Six members of the Incheon Airport Service Improvement Committee, including Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, Ryu Jin-hyung, Head of the Operations Headquarters, and the Director of the Seoul Regional Aviation Administration, attended the event.
This center is an integrated platform that consolidates all services dedicated to passengers with disabilities at Incheon Airport. It is located between gates 7 and 8 in the departure hall of Terminal 1 and operates from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Passengers with disabilities can receive various convenience services (airport guidance, dedicated check-in kiosks, electric cart transportation services, etc.) at the service desk after getting off at the central disabled-only parking area.
The center is equipped with electric cart charging facilities and has a lounge space where passengers can wait before using wheelchair rental services or electric cart services.

Through the operation of the Disabled Passenger Safe Travel Center, the corporation plans to dramatically improve the convenience of airport use for passengers with disabilities, promote the enhancement of mobility rights for the disabled, and practice social responsibility management.
President Lee said, "The one-stop departure service for passengers with disabilities will be a differentiated service unique to Incheon Airport," adding, "Building on this, Incheon Airport will continue to solidify its position as a global leading airport that not only ranks first in customer experience worldwide but also leads the world in services for passengers with disabilities and those with mobility challenges."
