Chosun University Hospital Tours LG Science Park to Leap into a Cutting-Edge Hospital

Chosun University Hospital (Director Kim Kyung-jong) announced on the 31st that it recently visited LG Science Park (Magok, Seoul) and LG Electronics BS Division Integrated Medical Showroom (Gyeonggi Province) for a tour and solution business meeting to build a state-of-the-art smart hospital.

Director Kim Kyung-jong, the executive team, and 9 faculty members including Kim Jin-woong, Head of the Smart Hospital Promotion Team (Director of Medical Information Office), visited with the purpose of exploring cooperation plans for applying advanced new technologies in the new hospital.

The main tour contents included viewing the entire lineup of LG Electronics medical products at the medical showroom, and broadly exploring robots, OLED displays, energy, and beauty at LG Science Park.

In particular, the visiting group focused on the medical product section during the tour program, taking the opportunity to observe and experience, concentrating on gaining ideas to leap forward as a cutting-edge smart hospital.

Director Kim Kyung-jong said, “Through this tour, we were able to glimpse the diversity of medical products and medical technology trends,” adding, “As we build the new hospital, we will put into practice what we saw and felt to advance toward a smart hospital equipped with cutting-edge technology.”

Meanwhile, LG Electronics was selected for a total of 23 top innovation awards in 28 innovative fields including health, smart home, and mobile devices among participating companies worldwide at the 2023 International Product Expo, and is currently focusing heavily on the medical industry.
