The Jaebusan Goseong Hometown Association held the "13th Jaebusan Goseong Hometown Association President's Cup Golf Tournament" on the 30th at Goseong Nobel Country Club in Gyeongnam.
This annual event hosted by the Jaebusan Goseong Hometown Association has established itself as a valuable occasion for fostering camaraderie among hometown members and practicing love for their hometown.
About 240 participants, including members of the Jaebusan Goseong Hometown Association and county residents, took part in this tournament, spending a meaningful time strengthening unity and friendship between expatriates and local residents.
In particular, on the occasion of the 13th golf tournament, the Jaebusan Goseong Hometown Association donated 50 million KRW as a hometown love donation to Goseong County, sharing the spirit of hometown affection and demonstrating the association’s strength.

Also, to mark this event, County Governor Lee Sang-geun received a plaque of appreciation from the Jaebusan Goseong Hometown Association, expressing gratitude for their efforts and dedication in uniting expatriates and Goseong residents and contributing to regional development.
Park Jae-bok, president of the Jaebusan Goseong Hometown Association, said, “I hope that the annual golf tournament held in our hometown will serve as an opportunity for expatriates to maintain unwavering affection and interest in their hometown,” adding, “We will continue to hold various events that promote harmony between hometown members and county residents.”
Governor Lee said, “I hope today’s golf tournament will be a meaningful time to strengthen unity and friendship among hometown members. I sincerely thank you for your loving interest and affection for Goseong, even from afar.”
Meanwhile, the Jaebusan Goseong Hometown Association practices love for their hometown through continuous exchanges and cooperation, including hometown visits, hiking competitions on famous local mountains, golf tournaments, donations of hometown love funds and scholarships, and contributions of goods to help neighbors in need.
