[Concall] Samsung Electronics "Agreed on HBM3 Supply Volume with Clients for Next Year"

Samsung Electronics stated in a conference call following the Q3 earnings announcement on the 31st, "We plan to secure more than 2.5 times the supply capacity of high-bandwidth memory (HBM)3 next year compared to this year, aiming to be the industry leader." They added, "We have already completed supply negotiations with customers for the corresponding volume for next year."

They also explained, "Mass production and supply of HBM3 have begun, and we will actively promote sales to expand our customer base." They further noted, "The proportion of HBM3 is expected to increase, surpassing more than half of the total volume in the first half of next year."

Samsung Electronics announced preliminary consolidated results for the third quarter with sales of 67 trillion won and an operating profit of 2.4 trillion won, exceeding expectations by more than 2 trillion won.
