Promotion of the Fall Season Disaster and Safety Hazard Intensive Reporting Period
With autumn comes an unexpected challenge. If you find yourself in a disaster situation or your safety is threatened, ring the ‘Safety Sinmungo’!
On the 31st at 2 p.m., Ulsan City will hold a promotional campaign for the ‘Autumn Disaster and Safety Risk Factor Intensive Reporting Period and Safety Life Guidelines’ around Taehwagang National Garden with about 20 members of the Ulsan Safety Life Practice Citizens’ Coalition.
This campaign was organized to promote the safety life practice tasks of the ‘Autumn Disaster and Safety Risk Factor Intensive Reporting System’ and the ‘Is Everyday Life Safe in Korea? Stay Safe!’ movement.
The promotional campaign will distribute leaflets to citizens containing information on △the intensive reporting period (October 1 to November 30) and reporting fields △how to report using Safety Sinmungo △and 11 safety life practice tasks.
An official from Ulsan City said, “To proactively respond to disaster prevention and frequently occurring accidents, safety reporting must be activated. Especially in autumn, when festivals and mountain hiking increase the risk of safety accidents, we hope people familiarize themselves with how to use Safety Sinmungo to prevent accidents.”
