Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the opening ceremony of the ‘Insaeng 100 Ban’ in Dangsan 1-dong on the morning of the 30th and cut a rice cake cake.
Insaeng 100 Ban is a market-type senior job project where seniors directly operate small-scale stores to generate income. It operates Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with 36 senior job participants aged 60 and over working in teams of six, two to three times a week.
The opening ceremony was held with the attendance of Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, the director of Yeongdeungpo Senior Club, and 10 senior job participants, and included ▲opening ceremony ▲greeting speech ▲signboard unveiling ▲rice cake cake cutting ▲commemorative photo session.
Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, said, “I sincerely congratulate the opening of Insaeng 100 Ban, filled with the sincerity and handmade taste of the seniors. I hope Insaeng 100 Ban will be a project that expands social participation opportunities for seniors and realizes warm companionship with the vulnerable,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen senior welfare so that the seniors who devoted their youth to the development of today’s advanced Republic of Korea can enjoy a happy and healthy old age.”
