Busan Port Authority (BPA) signed a 'Business Cooperation Agreement for Creating a Safe Community' with the Busan Jungbu Police Station on the 30th at the BPA headquarters to collaborate on the installation and management of safety facilities.
This agreement primarily involves the Busan Port Authority taking charge of the installation and management of safety facilities within Busan Port, while the Jungbu Police Station will strengthen patrol and police activities to prevent crime within the BPA-managed area of the port.
The Busan Port Authority stated that through this agreement, the safety management responsibilities of BPA in managing and developing Busan Port and the citizen safety duties of the Jungbu Police Station will complement and cooperate with each other, creating a synergy effect to protect citizen safety and prevent major disasters.
