Changwon Special City and Changwon Area Provincial Assembly Members ... Sharing Key Issues and Project Progress

Mayor Hong Nampyo: "We Will Cooperate Closely with the Gyeongnam Provincial Council for Changwon City's Growth"

On the 30th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a meeting inviting members of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council from the Changwon area to strengthen cooperation on major issues and project promotion.

At the meeting, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Kang Yongbeom, Vice Chairman, along with 15 provincial council members, Jang Geumyong, the 1st Deputy Mayor, and heads of departments attended to share the status of major issues and project promotion in Changwon City and to have a communication session to strengthen cooperation with Gyeongnam Province.

Changwon Special City held a meeting by inviting provincial councilors from the Changwon area.

Changwon City plans to promote various projects next year aiming to accelerate the transition to innovative growth, establish itself as a mecca of the 4th Industrial Revolution, create a Changwon-type welfare community, enhance urban dignity, create future-oriented organic urban spaces, and become a city attractive to youth.

During the meeting, the city requested understanding and cooperation from the provincial council members regarding the city’s policy direction and shared the council members’ suggestions.

Mayor Hong said, “With the expansion of decentralization of central authority, communication and cooperation between the city and the province are more important than ever,” adding, “We will continue to work closely with the provincial council to revitalize Changwon’s economy and secure future growth engines.”
