Strengthening Data Organization
Global Market Entry Next Year
Short-form content platform DotSlashDash (CEO Changwoo Lee) announced on the 30th that it has recruited AI content expert Min-ki Kim as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and established a data organization to advance its service.
DotSlashDash is the third startup by serial entrepreneur Changwoo Lee, who successfully led 29CM and 10x10 (TenbyTen). Combining SNS and commerce using short-form videos, individuals can record brief daily videos, while companies and brands can utilize content needed for marketing. A distinctive feature is that individuals receive rewards if their videos are selected for brand advertising campaigns.
CTO Min-ki Kim is an IT expert with 14 years of experience, having led platform development and online-offline linked projects at US-based GenX, A-Land, and HomeMaster, and overseeing machine learning system development at Alchera.
At DotSlashDash, deep learning technology will be applied to add search functionality. When users upload videos, AI technology analyzes the videos to identify locations as well as the mood and emotions of characters appearing in the videos, categorizing them by keywords.
Additionally, a semantic search function that analyzes the meaning of sentences searched within the app is being developed. Through this, companies and brands can find short-form content suitable for advertising campaigns simply by keyword search. Users can more easily access personalized content that fits their needs.
Changwoo Lee, CEO of DotSlashDash, said, "We will focus on providing users with an integrated online-offline experience and enhancing user experience based on data."
