Ogreat, Successful Launch Promotion of First Premium DHA Egg 'Ogre'

Green bio startup SimplyCareBio announced the successful completion of a promotion held to celebrate the launch of OGG, the first product of the green food brand OGreat.

SimplyCareBio is a company that develops technology to activate effective ingredients within livestock and innate immune activation technology through green bio technology.

SimplyCareBio launched the first premium DHA eggs, OGG, under the green food brand OGreat, and to commemorate this, conducted in-store sales and a launch promotion for about one month in September at Lotte Department Store’s main branch and Gangnam branch, as well as Galleria Department Store’s Apgujeong and Gwanggyo branches.

The premium eggs OGG are No. 1 natural free-range fertilized eggs, representing the best animal welfare rearing environment. They are produced directly at farms closely managed under strict standards by SimplyCareBio’s research team, composed of top veterinarians in Korea.

In particular, OGG, which embodies over 53,000 hours of research, contains the highest domestic content of natural DHA (500mg per 100g of egg yolk).

The first launch promotion was very successful, recording sales equivalent to the top-selling egg products and concluding the first offline promotional event.

According to a SimplyCareBio representative, “After the successful promotion, positive consumer feedback is appearing through various SNS reviews, and product purchases are increasing on online malls as well.”

He added, “Currently, due to production volume limitations, sales are focused mainly on our own mall, OGreat Mall, but since consumer interest and product quality were verified through the previous department store promotion, we plan to expand production in the future to secure various sales channels and collaborate with well-known dining brands to expand customer touchpoints so that more consumers can easily access the product.”

Meanwhile, SimplyCareBio achieved the distinction of being selected this year for the government-supported follow-up project of the Da-Star platform hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Deep-Tech TIPS program.

The Deep-Tech TIPS program is part of the ‘Super Gap Startup 1000+’ project and is an investment program that provides up to 1.7 billion KRW in funding over three years to startups that have received private investment of 300 million KRW or more. Being recognized for their technological capabilities less than two years after corporate establishment makes this achievement even more valuable.
