Supertone Unveils New Voice AI Technology Tailored for Gaming at G-STAR

Two Real-Time Voice Generation Technologies for Game Characters and Users Introduced

AI audio company Supertone will showcase AI voice generation technology applicable to the gaming sector at ‘G-STAR 2023’. This technology allows game companies to easily design character voices according to their directorial intent, maximizing user immersion in games. Supertone announced on the 30th that it will participate in the international game exhibition ‘G-STAR 2023’, held at BEXCO in Busan from November 16 to 18.

Supertone will set up a booth in the Business Hall (B2B) at BEXCO’s Exhibition Hall 2, where it will pre-release two new AI voice technologies launching in the first half of next year and operate an experience zone for demonstrations. Marking its participation in G-STAR, Supertone will expand its business scope from music, drama, and film to the gaming sector.

The new technologies to be introduced include ‘Project Screenplay’, which can generate natural audio for game character dialogues, and ‘Project Shift’, which enables game users to have real-time conversations with other users using the voices of game characters. ‘Project Screenplay’ is an AI voice service based on TTS (Text-to-Speech) technology. It generates audio with rich emotional expression matching the directorial intent by inputting dialogue text and combining voice components.

‘Project Shift’ allows game users to adjust the mixing ratio between their own voice and the character’s voice, freely set the voice style, and enjoy real-time conversations with the desired character voice. It can be used in various ways, such as customer events utilizing game character voices.
