Busan World Expo Citizen Committee Holds Jazz Concert to Support Bid

The 2030 Busan World Expo Citizen Committee will hold the "Romance of an Autumn Day, Expo Jazz Concert" with citizens to pray for the hosting of the 2030 Busan World Expo on November 5th at 3 PM at Dasom Square in Busan Citizens Park, Busanjin-gu.

On this day, the Expo Jazz Concert will invite about 500 people, including representatives from companies that donated to the 2030 Busan World Expo Citizen Committee, committee members, and Busan citizens, free of charge.

This event is a citizen participation cultural event planned by the Expo Citizen Committee to form a broad civic consensus on hosting the 2030 Busan World Expo and to enhance and promote the image of Busan as a city of culture and arts.

The event will begin with an Expo hosting support performance, followed by performances from ▲ Monkey BGM, a famous jazz band with 230,000 subscribers ▲ Luz Negra, a jazz band based on flamenco music ▲ Avanico, an exciting and lively jazz band based on Latin music ▲ and Busan STAPS, a swing jazz band incorporating tap dance.

Park Eun-ha, Executive Director of the 2030 Busan World Expo Citizen Committee, said, "We will continue to passionately carry out activities with citizens until the final decision on November 28th, when the host city for the Expo will be decided as Busan," adding, "We will strive to make the Expo hosting a joyful festival with the citizens."
