No.1 Telemedicine Dr. Now Launches Doctor Consultation Subscription Supplement Service

Doctor Now, the number one company in the non-face-to-face medical consultation industry, launched a subscription service on the 30th that recommends personalized supplements through health consultations with doctors.

Last month, as the grace period for the pilot project of non-face-to-face medical consultations was suspended, putting the future of non-face-to-face medical consultations in Korea at risk, the industry appears to be seeking new opportunities through emerging industries.

Doctor Now announced on the same day that it has launched the personalized supplement brand ‘Doctor Its’. Born from a collaboration with hy (Korea Yakult), ‘Doctor Its’ is a subscription service that recommends personalized supplements through one-on-one consultations with doctors based on information such as lifestyle habits, health status, and health concerns. It offers supplements specialized in digestive and immune system improvement using individually recognized ingredients researched and developed by hy Central Research Institute.

Supplements selected based on doctor consultations are packaged in small portions according to the subscription period, significantly reducing the inconvenience of having to take various supplements daily. A Doctor Now representative explained, “This is the first time such a service is offered in the domestic small-portion health functional food industry.”

To celebrate the launch of the ‘Doctor Its’ brand, Doctor Now is holding an event. Regular subscribers will receive a genetic testing kit worth 100,000 KRW for free. Users who register for a subscription by the 30th of next month can enjoy the first month free of charge.
