Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, is spraying a fire extinguisher together with children.

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) held the "Jungnang-gu Safety Experience Festival" on the 27th at Jungnang-gu Citizen Square to promote a culture of safety in the region.

The Safety Experience Festival, organized with the participation of related organizations such as Jungnang-gu Office, Jungnang Police Station, Seoul Branch of the Korea Road Traffic Authority, as well as safety-related groups including the Jungnang-gu Autonomous Disaster Prevention Group and Safety Security Officers, featured various experiential programs under four themes: personal safety, fire safety, disaster safety, and traffic safety.

About 700 local residents, including children, students, and parents, had the opportunity to directly experience and learn CPR, how to use fire extinguishers and emergency escape devices, and earthquake evacuation procedures.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "I hope the Jungnang-gu Safety Experience Festival provided an easy and enjoyable way to learn safety rules and encouraged people to pay more attention to safety in daily life." He added, "We will continue to prioritize the safety of our citizens and strive to create a safe living environment, while also working to develop various programs that enhance citizens' crisis response capabilities."
