They agreed to resume youth cultural exchanges, which had been suspended due to COVID-19, so that students from both cities can experience each other's cultures and strengthen their friendship.

Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "I sincerely welcome Mayor Toshiya Hazama and the Otaru delegation who visited our district to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the sister city relationship. I hope this meeting will be an opportunity to build a mutually beneficial cooperative relationship and further understand each other's cultures."

We will strive to activate exchanges not only in youth cultural activities but also in various fields such as economy and sports."
