Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Visits 2023 Goheung Direct Market

On the afternoon of the 26th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, Seoul, attended the '2023 Goheung Direct Transaction Market' event held at Junggye Neighborhood Park.

This direct transaction market was organized to promote and sell Goheung regional specialties to residents, providing an opportunity to increase farmers' income while offering healthy and high-quality food, and to serve as a communication platform between urban and rural areas.

The market will be open for three days until the 28th. Visitors to Junggye Neighborhood Park from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. can find over 150 excellent agricultural and marine products from Goheung at about 40 booths, including napa cabbage kimchi, green onion kimchi, salted seafood, grains (such as seoritae beans and red beans), Goheung yuja (citron), pomegranate, seafood, cereals, and kimchi.

On this day, the event proceeded with greetings, gift presentations, commemorative photos, and a round of visits, attended by Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, Gong Young-min, County Governor of Goheung, and other officials.
