Seok-Suk Seo, Mayor of Songpa District

Dongdaemun District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung held a book launch event that gained popularity, and Seogang-seok, Mayor of Songpa District, will also hold a book launch for his autobiographical novel "Gangsu Walked" next month.

Mayor Seo of Songpa District published a full-length novel based on his own story of living a difficult life in conflict with the times, and will hold the event on November 16 at 3 p.m. in the main auditorium of the Songpa District Community Center.

Mayor Seo, a published poet and writer, is a former administrative official who passed the 25th Administrative Examination and served as Secretary to the Mayor of Seoul, Director of the Human Resources Development Institute, and Director of the Finance Bureau. He was elected as the 8th-term elected mayor of Songpa District and is accelerating efforts to create a "cultural city."

Dongdaemun District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung held a book concert on the 14th at the main auditorium of the Cyber Hall at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies to celebrate the complete sell-out of the first edition of his book "Walking Dongdaemun."

Mayor Lee, elected as the 8th-term elected mayor of Dongdaemun District, compiled warm stories of people he found while roaming around Dongdaemun District in his first book since taking office, "Walking Dongdaemun."

Mayor Lee is a popular travel writer who has published five books, including ▲ "Breath Led Me" (2016), ▲ "Nepal's Time Does Not Hurry" (2017), ▲ "Mont Blanc, The Path to the Sky" (2019), and ▲ "Is Hongdo Well?" (2021).
