Dongseo Food recently launched the premium capsule coffee brand ‘Kanu Barista (KANU BARISTA)’ earlier this year. Kanu Barista is characterized by its specialized taste and volume tailored to Americano, the coffee most preferred by Koreans, based on Dongseo Food’s over 50 years of coffee manufacturing technology and expertise. It contains 9.5g of coffee beans, 1.7 times more than conventional espresso capsules, allowing for a richer Americano experience.
Kanu Barista incorporates various technologies to enhance the coffee’s flavor. The ‘Dual Nozzle Bypass’ technology, where espresso and water are extracted from separate nozzles, creates a cleaner-tasting Americano. The ‘Triangle Tamping’ technology, which replicates a barista’s tamping technique, ensures consistent extraction to maintain uniform coffee aroma and quality. Additionally, coffee is extracted at an ideal 18?22% golden yield, called the ‘Golden Essence,’ to deliver the most optimal taste.
Moreover, it features an ice-specific button for consumers who prefer cold coffee regardless of the weather. Hot Americano and espresso can be easily brewed with a single button press, and additional hot water and high-temperature cleaning of the extraction outlet are also available with one touch for added convenience. The Kanu Barista coffee machine is available in two models: the ‘Kanu Barista Urban’ and the ‘Kanu Barista Breeze.’
