CJ ENM announced on the 26th that the movie 'Alien+In' Part 2 will be released in January 2024.
The sequel to the movie 'Alien+In,' which was released in July last year, depicts a story of humans and Taoists trying to save everyone by returning to the present as hidden secrets are revealed amid a fierce battle for the divine sword.
It is the first series directed by director Choi Dong-hoon, who directed movies such as 'Jeon Woo-chi' (2009), 'The Thieves' (2012), and 'Assassination' (2015).
Actors Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Tae-ri, Kim Woo-bin, Yum Jung-ah, Jo Woo-jin, and Kim Eui-sung, who led Part 1, are joined by Lee Ha-nee and Jin Seon-kyu, who plays the blind swordsman Neungpa.
The recently released trailer shows Ian (Kim Tae-ri), who recovered the divine sword in Goryeo, traveling to the future with Muruk (Ryu Jun-yeol) and two Taoists, Heukseol (Yum Jung-ah) and Cheongun (Jo Woo-jin), to prevent Haba's explosion. Thunder (Kim Woo-bin), who disappeared after falling into Goryeo with young Ian in Part 1, appears, and the gate of time leading to the future opens.
