Seongnam Jungwon Police Station Reports Investigation Details of Ms. Jeon, a Woman in Her 20s

Jeon Cheong-jo, who had been embroiled in rumors including allegations of fraud after announcing his upcoming marriage to former national fencing representative Nam Hyun-hee, was arrested by the police on stalking charges.

On the 26th, the Seongnam Jungwon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced that they are investigating Jeon, a woman in her 20s, on suspicion of violating the Stalking Punishment Act.

Jeon is accused of repeatedly knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell at Nam's mother's house in Jungwon-gu, Seongnam City, around 1:09 a.m. that day.

When Jeon tried to enter the house saying, "I know someone here, please let me in," Nam's family called 112, and the police arrested Jeon in the act.

It is reported that Jeon came to Nam's mother's house after recently being notified of a breakup by Nam.

Meanwhile, Nam and Jeon had publicly revealed that they were in a relationship and planning to get married, but suspicions arose afterward that Jeon had a criminal record for fraud.
