Dong-A Socio Holdings Group is taking the lead in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to strengthen social responsibility.

According to Dong-A Socio Holdings Group on the 26th, the group’s affiliates have been holding an annual CSR seminar since 2020 to enhance social responsibility management.

Dong-A Socio Holdings Group emphasizes the spirit of 'GAMASOT,' which means valuing and warmly treating people, the starting point of the company. Specifically, all group companies are promoting social responsibility management by properly implementing their professional capabilities and fulfilling their responsibilities as corporate citizens. The CSR seminar is one of the activities for this purpose.

The CSR seminar gathers all group companies in one place to establish CSR strategies and directions and set goals for creating social value for Dong-A Socio Holdings Group’s social responsibility management. At the seminar, CSR managers from 13 group companies share major trends in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management and open innovation cases, and establish strategies to practice ESG management. They also derive and share various social values that can be discovered within the group companies.

At this year’s '2023 CSR Seminar,' Doh Hyun-myung, CEO of Impact Square, an ESG business consulting company, gave a lecture on the topic of 'Recent Domestic and International ESG Trends and Social Value Measurement and Evaluation for Long-term ESG Management.' Following this, Ko Jae-sung, CEO of the startup Gatda, which operates the O2O (Online to Offline) service 'Ppaegi' that collects large waste through a mobile app, was invited to give a special lecture on 'Successful Cases through Open Innovation in the Field.'

Jung Jae-hoon, CEO of Dong-A Socio Holdings, visited the CSR seminar site and said, "I hope you will reflect on ESG management based on an understanding of the philosophy of social responsibility management that the group holds."
