KOSDAQ-listed company Studio Mir announced on the 25th that its new animation "Devil May Cry" has been included in the Netflix Geeked Week event lineup.
Marking its third year, Netflix's "Geeked Week 2023" is an online event showcasing first-look trailers, exclusive news, behind-the-scenes stories, and merchandise for highly anticipated upcoming movies, series, and games. The event will run for one week from the 6th to the 12th of next month.
Studio Mir's new work "Devil May Cry" is set to be introduced alongside other highly anticipated Netflix titles during this Geeked Week. Among domestic works, highlight scenes from the successful previous season of "Sweet Home" Season 2 and "Gyeongseong Creature" will be revealed. Additionally, news about Netflix series such as "The Three-Body Problem," "Avatar: The Last Airbender," "Sun Brothers," and Netflix films like "Damsel," "Leave the World Behind," and "Rebel Moon" will also be covered.
A Studio Mir representative stated, "Devil May Cry has been featured in both the previous Netflix DROP01 event and this Geeked Week, making it one of the most highly anticipated titles in the Netflix lineup. Since the original game was also a major hit, this Geeked Week will be the first opportunity to introduce it to a global fandom."
The original "Devil May Cry" is a stylish action game where the protagonist "Dante" battles demons. As of 2019, it had released up to Season 5 and enjoyed great popularity. It also won the Best Action Game award at The Game Awards (TGA) 2019.
