With the outbreak of the viral cattle disease 'Lumpy Skin Disease' raising concerns about nationwide damage, animal vaccine stocks such as Daesung Microbial are showing strong performance on the 23rd.

As of 1:57 PM that day, Daesung Microbial was trading at 14,530 KRW, a sharp increase of 29.96% compared to the previous trading day. At the same time, Egle Vet was up 26.57% to 6,670 KRW, and Jungang Vaccine rose 21.52% to 12,760 KRW.

The Central Accident Response Headquarters for Lumpy Skin Disease announced the day before that since the first outbreak at a Hanwoo farm in Seosan-si, Chungnam on the 20th, 10 cases have occurred in cattle farms mainly along the west coast in Chungnam and Gyeonggi, with additional reports being received.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs plans to rapidly complete emergency vaccination of cattle farms within the quarantine zone by the end of October, considering the stockpiled vaccine supply and the outbreak situation.
