On the 23rd, during the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee's audit of Seoul City, when Assemblyman Choi In-ho of the Democratic Party asked, "Do you have any thoughts on the exemption range and imposition criteria in the amendment of the Reconstruction Excess Profit Recovery Act?" Mayor Oh responded accordingly.

Assemblyman Choi inquired, "As of the end of August this year, there are 40 complexes in Seoul that have been notified of reconstruction charges. This is an increase of 12 compared to the end of June last year. How many complexes have passed the charge imposition date but have not yet been charged?"

In response, Mayor Oh said, "I understand that there are such complexes in six autonomous districts including Seocho, Eunpyeong, Gangnam, and Gwangjin," adding, "Since discussions on the amendment of the related law are currently underway, I believe they are monitoring the situation."

He continued, "I hope the burden on Seoul citizens decreases," and added, "Our city has actively requested the amendment, and I understand it is being discussed in the National Assembly standing committee, so I ask for much support."

Assemblyman Choi also asked, "There are 41 candidate sites for the Urban Public Housing Complex Project in Seoul, totaling nearly 60,000 housing units, but the related law is a three-year temporary law that will expire on September 20 next year. Do you have any plans to recommend the extension or abolition of this system to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport?"

Mayor Oh replied, "Currently, two projects are underway, and three have applied for approval of complex project plans," adding, "I think it is appropriate to recommend the extension of the related system to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport."
