GC Care (CEO An Hyojo) is currently conducting the nationwide health promotion campaign “OKOK Everyone’s Walking Competition” through its healthy lifestyle management app, “Eotteoke Care.” The competition, held from September 26 to October 31 within the Eotteoke Care app, is a nationwide contest where participants become representative players of their regions and compete by walking. “OKOK” is a word combining “OK,” which stands for Eotteoke Care, and “OK,” which represents “walk,” symbolizing the idea of joyfully starting walking exercises anyone can do in daily life together with Eotteoke Care.
By participating in the competition, users can compare their step data with other participants and view their personal rankings both within their region and nationwide, updated daily. Additionally, rankings by district are provided so participants can see which district is most active in walking exercises. Eotteoke Care offers information on effective walking postures and exercise durations to help users double the benefits of walking. Since comparing step counts with friends and family makes walking more enjoyable and healthier, users can also invite friends to join the campaign.
Eotteoke Care provides a variety of health-related information. The Food Camera feature allows users to take pictures of their meals with a smartphone to find out calorie content, enabling recommended calorie calculations and nutrient analysis tailored to their target weight. Users can easily compare nearby health screening centers and select the health checkup that suits them best. Past scattered screening records can be viewed at a glance, and users can see how healthy they are compared to peers. Based on health status, customized exercise programs and personalized healthy eating habits are recommended. Additionally, users can select uncomfortable body parts and symptoms on a 3D graphic character to learn about potential diseases. The “I Check” feature estimates illnesses for infants and toddlers based on common emergency situations. After disease checks, users can find out at a glance which hospital to visit, including 24-hour weekend hospitals and pharmacies.
